An AV-8B Harrier with Medium Marine Tiltrotor Squadron 161 (Reinforced), 15th Marine Expeditionary Unit, prepares to depart the amphibious assault ship USS Essex (LHD 2) in order to support Operation Inherent Resolve. U.S. Marines and Sailors aboard Essex work side-by-side to ensure mission success.
