Navy Lt. Ivan Williams, a pilot with Patrol Squadron 47, and a native of Oakley, Calif., reunites with his family at Hangar 104 aboard Marine Corps Base Hawaii, Aug. 28, 2015. During their seven-month deployment, the ‘Golden Swordsmen’ of VP-47 conducted operations in various countries including Greece, Italy and Djibouti. Homecomings aboard MCB Hawaii are an opportunity for family readiness personnel aboard the base to provide support for military families as part of the installation’s overall mission.
