A Florida Air National Guard Airman of the Petroleum, Oils and Lubricants flight, sprays petroleum ether in preparation for completing a particulate contamination test on JET-A fuel through laboratory filtration (bottle method) at the 125th Fighter Wing, Jacksonville, Fla., on Sept. 3, 2015. Testing of fuel must be accomplished after every fuel delivery has been received to ensure that fuel has not been contaminated with damaging elements and foreign substances.
