A Japanese-American veteran who served during World War II, stands as he is being recognized, during the 70th anniversary of the end of World War II aboard the USS Missouri, Sept. 2, 2015. The ceremony was attended by dignitaries from Hawai’i, the United States and other nations around the world, and held on deck of the USS Missouri, the same deck where Japan surrendered 70 years earlier to bring the end of World War II.
