Divers from MDSU 2 and civilian mariners from the Military Sealift Command rescue and salvage ship USNS Grasp, assigned to Commander, Task Force 68, are currently supporting Defense Personnel Accounting Agency for the recovery of U.S. Airmen who have been missing-in-action since their B-24 bomber was shot down while departing Italy in 1945.
