KUWAIT (Aug. 21, 2015) U.S. Marines Lance Cpl. Joey Hocker left, and Lance Cpl. Victor Galindo train for fire missions by rehearsing gun drills with an M224A1 60mm mortar system. Hocker and Galindo are both mortarmen with Kilo Company, Battalion Landing Team 3rd Battalion, 1st Marine Regiment, 15th Marine Expeditionary Unit. During the training Marines raced each other to their firing positions and to be the first to sight in on their targets. Elements of the 15th MEU are ashore in Kuwait for sustainment training to maintain and enhance the skills they developed during their pre-deployment training period. The 15th MEU is embarked with the Essex Amphibious Ready Group and are deployed to maintain regional security in the U.S. 5th Fleet area of operations. (U.S. Marine Corps photo by Sgt.
