U.S. Marines patrol through the woods at Camp Linton, New Zealand, during exercise Joint Assault Signals Company Black, Aug. 18, 2015. New Zealand Army Soldiers shared their patrolling techniques with the Marines. The Marines learned how Kiwi soldiers react to enemies firing from the front, rear, and also responded to a friendly casualty during a fire fight. The Kiwi soldiers are with 161 Battery, 16th Field Regiment. The Marines are with 5th Air Naval Gunfire Liaison Company, III Marine Expeditionary Force Headquarters Group, III MEF.
