Wooden crosses mark graves where bodies have been found at the Bethel Baptist Church cemetery. The graves may have had wooden headstones that eroded over time. The cemetery located on Naval Support Activity Northwest Annex has seven unmarked graves and five marked including one belonging to a "Buffalo Soldier" from the U.S. Army's 10th Cavalry United States Colored Troop.
