Ales Cvtek, with the Slovenian armed forces, assigned to Multinational Battle Group-West, perform combat lifesaver procedures during a training course, Aug. 20, 2015, at Camp Maréchal de Lattre de Tassigny, Kosovo. The purpose of the four-day course, taught by U.S. Army Medics from the 1st Battalion, 252nd Combined Arms Regiment, out of Fayetteville, N.C., was to provide necessary combat lifesaver techniques to both Slovenian and Polish soldiers, who are supporting the NATO mission of ensuring safety, security and freedom of movement in Kosovo.
