Senior Master Sgt. Tim Foley, of the 182nd Airlift Wing in Peoria, Ill., and Lt. Col. Joe Long, of the Civil Air Patrol (CAP) Illinois Wing, radio to a CAP flight from inside the Mobile Emergency Operations Center (MEOC) positioned at the 183rd Fighter Wing, Springfield, Ill., during exercise, Prairie Assurance, Aug. 24 - 28, 2015. The MEOC supported the multi-agency event with satellite, radio, video and phone conferencing capabilities. The exercise is designed to train elements of a task force to rapidly respond to a major earthquake in southern Illinois. Civilian and military experts in incident management supported the training.
