Marines with 3rd Battalion, 3rd Marine Regiment, sit in the Helo Dunker and prepare to be dropped into the water during the Modular Amphibious Egress Training held at the pool aboard Marine Corps Base Hawaii, Aug. 26, 2015. The purpose of MAET is to simulate an aircraft being flipped during an emergency water landing and teach service members the basics of evacuating the aircraft. This training helps support the mission of Marine Corps Base Hawaii, which is to enhance and sustain combat readiness for all operating forces and tenant organizations aboard the installation.
