DA NANG, Vietnam (Aug. 27, 2015) Capt. Chris Engdahl, the mission commander of Pacific Partnership 2015, gives a plaque to children and faculty of City of Hope, a disadvantaged children's center, during Pacific Partnership 2015. Seabees with Amphibious Construction Battalion One and Airmen with 554th RED HORSE Squadron completed renovations at the center as part of PP15. The hospital ship USNS Mercy (T-AH 19) is currently in Vietnam for its fourth mission port of Pacific Partnership. Pacific Partnership is in its 10th iteration and is the largest annual multilateral humanitarian assistance and disaster relief preparedness mission conducted in the Indo-Asia-Pacific region. While training for crisis conditions, Pacific Partnership missions to date have provided real world medical care to approximately 270,000 patients and veterinary services to more than 38,000 animals.
