California Army National Guard Soldiers and UH-60 Black Hawk helicopters from 1st Battalion, 140th Aviation Regiment, 40th Combat Aviation Brigade, lifted Soldiers from 1st Battalion, 184th Infantry Regiment, 79th Infantry Brigade Combat Team, during an Air Assault exercise at the Combined Arms Collective Training Center at Camp Roberts, Calif., Aug. 23-25. The assault exercise was supported by AH-64 Apache helicopters from 1st Battalion, 211th Aviation Regiment, a Utah Army National Guard unit attached to the 40th CAB.
