A Japan Air Self-Defense Force C-130H Hercules, assigned to the 1st Tactical Airlift Wing, prepares to take off from Joint Base Elmendorf-Richardson, Alaska, during Red Flag 15-3. The C-130 offers a maximum speed of 600 kilometers per hour with a payload of 19,400 pounds and can be used for air drops.
