The NMBC 3 detachment, ported in Hueneme, Calif., is currently deployed to Combined Joint Task Force – Horn of Africa, and is schedule to complete the bridge in January 2010. Szyplinski is a native of Washougal, Wash. Denoma is a native of Vale, Ore. Evans is a native of Blooming Grove, Texas. Peters is a native of Helena, Mont.
