(Aug. 21, 2015) Electrician’s Mate 1st Class Stephen Tipoti, assigned to U.S. Naval War College (NWC) in Newport, Rhode Island, stands aft lookout onboard the NWC command cutter as it passes NWC. The NWC command cutter was built by the Philadelphia Naval Shipyard in February 1957, is 50 feet in length with a beam of 13.5 feet, and is made of oak with double-planked Alaskan cedar sides and teak decks.
