Soldiers with the Ukrainian Armed Forces carry a ceremonial wreath at a Ukrainian Independence Day observance Aug. 24, 2015, in L'viv, Ukraine, honoring Ukrainians killed during last year's revolution in Kiev. Paratroopers with the U.S. Army's 173rd Airborne Brigade attended the ceremony to support their Ukrainian partners in their celebration of independence and to show respect to the people who sacrificed their lives for Ukraine's independence. The paratroopers are in Ukraine for the second of several planned rotations to train Ukraine's newly-formed national guard as part of Fearless Guardian, which is scheduled to last through November.
