Cpl. Daniel De Lashmutt, 22, from Stockton Calif., a landing support specialist with Bravo Company, 4th Landing Support Battalion, 4th Marine Logistics Group, tightens the light duty landing mats together in order to stabilize the pathway for the upcoming offloading of the tactical vehicles from the United States Naval Ship Williams to the Red Beach shore during the joint training exercise Pacific Horizon, Oct. 14. Pacific Horizon is an exercise aimed to improve core competencies in preparation for future deployments and operations as a Marine Air-Ground Task Force. During the mission, Marines and sailors will offload equipment and supplies from USNS Williams onto Red Beach at Camp Pendleton, Calif.
