Pacific Partnership 2015 Navy, Air Force engineers refurbish restrooms at City of Hope children's center in Vietnam

DA NANG, Vietnam (Aug. 18, 2015) Steelworker 2nd Class Justin Sneed from Cherokee, N.C., pushes a wheel barrel at the City of Hope, a disadvantaged children's center, during Pacific Partnership 2015. Navy and Air Force engineers planned to complete two new restroom facilities for residents. The hospital ship USNS Mercy (T-AH 19) is currently in Vietnam for its fourth mission port of PP15. Pacific Partnership is in its 10th iteration and is the largest annual multilateral humanitarian assistance and disaster relief preparedness mission conducted in the Indo-Asia-Pacific region. While training for crisis conditions, Pacific Partnership missions to date have provided real world medical care to approximately 270,000 patients and veterinary services to more than 38,000 animals. Critical infrastructure development has been supported in host nations during more than 180 engineering projects. (U.S. Air Force photo by Senior Airman Peter Reft/RELEASED)
