A paratrooper with Company C, 1st Battalion, 504th Parachute Infantry Regiment, 1st Brigade, 82nd Airborne Division (Advise and Assist Brigade), patrols the Saqlawiya Bridge as U.S. Army divers remove debris of an old bridge that lies in the path of a new bridge crossing the Euphrates River north of Al Taqaddum, Iraq, Oct. 9, 2009. Iraqi police are providing outer security for the bridge and new construction while the paratroopers provide security for the divers and engineers.
