A Spanish paratrooper with Task Force Besmaya fires a Dragunov SVD sniper rifle during a foreign weapons “train the trainer” course at the Besmaya Range Complex, Iraq, Aug. 7, 2015. The training allowed the soldiers to become proficient in a variety of weapons the Iraqi Army uses in order to prepare training for the Iraqi soldiers. Training at the building partner capacity sites is an integral part of Combined Joint Task Force – Operation Inherent Resolve’s multinational effort to train Iraqi security force personnel to defeat the Islamic State of Iraq and the Levant.
