A UH-60 Black Hawk hovers at the ancient Ziggurat of Ur near Nasiriyah, Iraq. The helicopter was piloted by Chief Warrant Officer Four Darren "Doc" Dreher and Chief Warrant Officer Two Thaddeus "Ted" Simpson from Company A, 2nd Battalion, 104th Aviation Regiment providing direct support to the 4th Brigade, 1st Armored Division "Highlander." The pilots are assigned to the Illinois Army National Guard. The Highlander Brigade is deployed from Fort Bliss, Texas. The Ziggurat, constructed in 2,100 B.C. by Sumerian King Ur-Nammu, is preserved by the Iraqi ministry of antiquities.
