A UH-60 Black Hawk helicopter from the 1st Air Cavalry Brigade, 1st Cavalry Division flies over a pond at Fort Hood, Texas, after filling its “Bambi Bucket” during training Aug. 6. The 600-gallon bucket is used to extinguish wildfires, however helicopter crews must first qualify with the device before being able to use it in real firefighting situations.
