Paratroopers with Company C, 1st Battalion, 504th Parachute Infantry Regiment, 1st Brigade Combat Team, 82nd Airborne Division Advise and Assist Brigade, return from a patrol across the Euphrates River while assisting Iraqi police, who are providing security for a nearby bridge project on the Euphrates River north of Al Taqaddum, Iraq, Oct. 5, 2009. The airborne unit is the first organic advise and assist brigade assigned the mission of security force assistance in Iraq.
