The Marines and sailors with Force Reconnaissance Platoon, Maritime Raid Force, 31st Marine Expeditionary Unit, combined fast-roping with live-fire training, all while wearing M50 gas masks. The Marines of FRP provide the 31st MEU with a specialized direct action force. The 31st MEU is currently on a regularly scheduled deployment to the Asia-Pacific region.
