Spc. Johnlee Quiett, an El Paso, Texas, native with Attack Company, 1st Battalion, 503rd Infantry Regiment, 173rd Infantry Brigade Combat Team (Airborne) out of Vicenza, Italy, secures his position at first base following a base hit during a baseball game against the Latvian National Team held in Riga, Latvia, Aug. 8. The esprit de corps developed during the game increased the camaraderie among Latvians and the U.S. Soldiers deployed to the region for Operation Atlantic Resolve.
