Gen. Ellen M. Pawlikowski, commander of Air Force Materiel Command, talks with Air Force Col. Ronald Jolly, 75th Air Base Wing commander, and Falcon Hill development team members about the Falcon Hill Enhanced Use Lease project Wednesday, Aug. 5, at Hill Air Force Base, Utah. EUL allows the Defense Department to lease underutilized property to a developer in exchange for value back to the Air Force in the form of new infrastructure, gates and buildings. The Falcon Hill project does not require any Air Force funding and no federal tax dollars. Once construction is completed, the Air Force will own and operate the government space. Until recently, an old building once stood where the parking to Pawlikowski’s left now resides. (U.S. Air Force photo by Alex R. Lloyd)
