Key leaders of the Iraqi security forces, Kurdish Peshmerga and U.S. Army are briefed by Navy Explosive Ordinance Disposal personnel during a counter improvised explosive device demonstration on Contingency Operating Base Speicher in northern Iraq, Oct. 6. The demonstration included a controlled detonation of an improvised explosive device and showed the techniques and equipment used by EOD personnel to secure, process and investigate blast sites by collection and analysis of key evidence pieces found post IED blast.
