An Iraqi soldier from Bomb Disposal Company, 4th Iraqi Army Field Engineer Regiment, wearing a protective bomb suit walks around blast sites during an explosive ordinance disposal demonstration for key leaders of the Iraqi security forces, Kurdish Peshmerga and U.S. Army on Contingency Operating Base Speicher in northern Iraq, Oct. 6. The demonstration included a controlled detonation of an improvised explosive device and showed the techniques and equipment used by EOD personnel to secure, process and investigate blast sites by collection and analysis of key evidence pieces found post IED blast.
