Spc. Shaheed Stevenson, an operations specialist currently deployed to Kosovo as part of the Multinational Battle Group-East headquarters, practices proper pistol grip during an M9 pistol firing range qualification event, July 31, 2015, at Camp Bondsteel, Kosovo. Stevenson is a North Carolina National Guard Soldier with the 30th Armored Brigade Combat Team, based out of Clinton, N.C. Basic marksmanship is a core Soldier skill that all military members need to maintain. The 30th ABCT is currently serving as the MNBG-E headquarters, part of NATO’s peace support mission in Kosovo.
