Wesley Tronolone, a native of Roanoke, Va., both assigned to 8th Engineer Support Battalion in Camp Lejeune, NC., turn on the raw water pump of the Light Weight Purification System (LWPS) that will draw water from the ocean in Puerto Castilla, Honduras. The Joint-service personnel are deployed as part of the Adaptive Force Package in support of Southern Partnership Station-Joint High Speed Vessel 2015 (SPS-JHSV 15). SPS-JHSV 15 is an annual series of U.S. Navy deployments, fostering a lasting relationship with the host nations by promoting and enhancing regional stability and security through the sharing of experiences.
