Hospital Corpsman Petty Officer 3rd Class Raphael Landicho, a native of Riverside, Calif., assigned to 8th Engineer Support Battalion, in Camp Lejeune, NC., plays “doctor” with the children from the Juan Ramon Salgado school before distributing soft toys donated by “Loving Hugs” in Trujillo, Honduras. Landicho is deployed as part of the Adaptive Force Package in support of Southern Partnership Station-Joint High Speed Vessel 2015 (SPS-JHSV 15). SPS-JHSV 15 is an annual series of U.S. Navy deployments, fostering a lasting relationship with the host nations by promoting and enhancing regional stability and security through the sharing of experiences.
