Fort Hood officials have released the name of a Soldier who was found dead Aug. 2 by law enforcement authorities in Belton Lake. Spc. Brenton Wade Blume, 21, whose home of record is listed as Houston, entered active-duty service in October 2012 as a combat engineer. He was assigned to 20th Engineer Battalion, 36th Engineer Brigade, Fort Hood, since June 2015. Circumstances surrounding this incident are under investigation.
