An M119A3 crew, assigned to 3rd Battalion, 319th Airborne Field Artillery Regiment, conducted night fire operations, shooting fire out of the muzzle of the 105 mm howitzer during the first Battalion Artillery Readiness Test in more than a decade. The BART, held July 27-31 on Fort Bragg, N.C., validated the Gun Devils’ ability to coordinate complex fire missions before assuming the Global Response Force in December. (Capt.
