An M119A3 crew, assigned to 3rd Battalion, 319th Airborne Field Artillery Regiment, work as a single entity, despite lack of sleep, to rapidly emplace their 105mm light towed howitzer during the first Battalion Artillery Readiness Test in more than a decade. The BART, conducted from July 27 to 31 on Fort Bragg, N.C., validated the Gun Devils’ ability to coordinate complex fire missions before assuming the Global Response Force in December. (Capt.
