YOKOHAMA, Japan (July 31, 2015) – Sailors assigned to Commander Fleet Activities Yokosuka (CFAY) participate in a clean-up at Yokohama Foreign General Cemetery in Yokohama July 31. The cemetery, which was established nearly 150 years ago, is the final resting place for many foreigners with about 3,000 tombstones occupying the grounds. CFAY provides, maintains, and operates base facilities and services in support of 7th Fleet’s forward-deployed naval forces, 83 tenant commands, and 24,000 military and civilian personnel.
