Therapy dog Trouble, a 4-year-old Rhodesian ridgeback, listens to a story during the Reading to Dogs event at the base library, July 22, 2015. Trouble is certified with the Reading Education Assistance Dogs program from Intermountain Therapy Animals, a nonprofit organization based in Salt Lake City. Trouble is also one of the therapy dogs from Tails of Aloha, a local nonprofit organization providing therapy dog visits islandwide. The mission of Marine Corps Base Hawaii is to provide facilities, programs and services in direct support of units, individuals and families in order to enhance and sustain combat readiness for all operating forces and tenant organizations aboard the installation.
