Marines with Golf Company, Battalion Landing Team 2nd Battalion, 5th Marines, 31st Marine Expeditionary Unit, conducted training with Australian service members as part of Talisman Sabre 2015. Talisman Sabre is a biennial exercise designed to increase interoperability between Australian and U.S. forces. The 31st MEU is the only continuously forward deployed MEU in the Marine Corps and is currently deployed on its Fall Patrol of the Asia-Pacific region.
