Coalition forces in Kabul participated in the DANCON March, short for Danish Contingent, and the march has been a tradition with Danish Defense since 1972. Several hundred NATO military and civilian contract personnel walked, hiked or ran 25 km, July 22, 2015 at Hamid Karzai International Airport. Some people say the purpose of the march is to demonstrate the physical preparedness of the military and as a social event. (USAF photos by Capt. Eydie Sakura)
