Simcock’s previous duty was deputy commanding general of 2nd Marine Expeditionary Brigade, II Marine Expeditionary Force. Simcock is from San Mateo, California, and has assumed command of the division from Maj. Gen. H. Stacy Clardy III. The Marines are with 3rd Marine Division, III MEF.
