U.S. Army Sgt. Nicholas Derry of the 2nd Battalion, 29th Field Artillery Battery, Headquarters and Headquarters Detachment, from Rockford, Ill., gestures while talking during a visit to Ekeka, a sub-district in the district of Shuk ash Shuyukh in Nasariyah, Iraq, Sept. 30. The visit was coordinated to check on the progress of Iraqi contractors to ensure they are meeting their obligations.
