150717-N-ZF498-074U.S. 5TH FLEET AREA OF OPERATIONS (July 17, 2015) –Electronics Technician 2nd Class Gregory Tersvazkowec, from Madisonville, Tenn., supervises the line handlers holding the phone and distance line aboard the guided-missile destroyer USS Forrest Sherman (DDG 98) during an underway replenishment (RAS) with the Military Sealift Command dry cargo ship USNS Carl Brashear (T-AKE 7). Forrest Sherman is deployed to the U.S. 5th Fleet area of operations as part of Theodore Roosevelt Carrier Strike Group supporting Operation Inherent Resolve, strike operations in Iraq and Syria as directed, maritime security operations and theater security cooperation efforts in the region.
