Major Mark Fowler, an MV-22B Osprey pilot with Marine Medium Tiltrotor Squadron 365 (Reinforced), 24th Marine Expeditionary Unit, reunites with his children during the Aviation Combat Element’s homecoming at Marine Corps Air Station New River, N.C. July 16, 2015. Marines and Sailors of the 24th MEU were embarked on the ships of the Iwo Jima Amphibious Ready Group and supported operations in the U.S. 5th and 6th Fleet area of operations. They also took part in numerous theater security cooperation exercises and training with allied partners such as Djibouti, Italy, Oman, Spain, France, Jordan, Israel, United Arab Emirates, Bahrain, Greece, Kuwait, and Saudi Arabia.
