GULF OF ADEN (July 16, 2015) U.S. Marines and Sailors relocate an AH-1Z Viper from the “Greyhawks” of Marine Medium Tiltrotor Squadron 161 (Reinforced), 15th Marine Expeditionary Unit, on the flight deck of the amphibious transport dock ship USS Anchorage (LPD 23). The “Greyhawks” are the aviation combat element of the 15th MEU, and embarked aboard the ships of the Essex Amphibious Ready Group, are deployed in support of maritime security operations and theater security cooperation efforts in the U.S. 5th Fleet area of operations.
