A role player victim is prepared to be medically evacuated on a Black Hawk helicopter that will transport him to a medical facility able to address his needs during Iron Response, an active shooter exercise that took place at the Soldier Resilience and Readiness Center on West Fort Bliss July 9. In a mass casualty event, coordination efforts on site to area hospitals are necessary to ensure that all victims receive the medical treatment they require.
