Pfc. Donald D. Hickman Jr. checked the back end of a dump truck in the Khandari area while performing a snap vehicle check point. Marines from C Company, 1st Battalion, 1st Marine Regiment worked with the Iraqi police teaching them techniques and procedures. This marked the first time the IPs have patroled the Khandari area since the battalion took over the area.
