150509-N-YW024-102 DAVENPORT, Iowa (May 9, 2015)– Soldiers, Sailors, Airmen and Marines listen to a preflight brief in front of a C-130T Hercules aircraft known as “Fat Albert,” assigned to the Blue Angels Team, at the 29th Quad City Airshow during Navy Week Quad Cities. The Navy Week program is designed to raise awareness about the Navy in areas across the country that traditionally do not have a naval presence, and to bring America’s Navy closer to the people it protects through community relation projects, speaking engagements, STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering and Mathematics) demonstrations and media interviews with flag hosts and local area Sailors.
