150415-N-TP834-150 GULF OF OMAN (April 15, 2015) A Helicopter Sea Combat Squadron (HSC) 15 “Red Lions” Sailor inspects the tail rotor assembly of an MH-60S Seahawk helicopter on the aircraft carrier USS Carl Vinson (CVN 70) flight deck. Carl Vinson will soon depart the U.S. 5th Fleet area of responsibility for its home port of San Diego after supporting Operation Inherent Resolve, maritime security operations, strike operations in Iraq and Syria as directed, and theater security cooperation efforts in the region.
