POLARIS POINT, Guam (May 12, 2015) Rear Adm. T. K. Shannon, commander, Military Sealift Command, addresses civilian mariners assigned to the submarine tender USS Frank Cable (AS 40) during an all hands call. Shannon came onboard to meet with Sailors and civil service mariners and to present the Capt. David M. Cook Food Service Excellence Award. Frank Cable, forward deployed to the island of Guam, conducts maintenance and support of submarines and surface vessels deployed to the U.S. 7th Fleet area of responsibility.
