Bjarne F. Aasum, a member of the Norwegian Arms and Armour Society, speaks the airmen and soldiers of the Minnesota National Guard alone with the men and women of the Norwegian Home Guard- 12 at Vaernes Garrison in Stjordal, Norway, Feb. 14, 2015. Aasum tells a story about when he was at the age of seven; he can recall the Jorstad Bridge being blown up in January of 1945.
